Many constituents have contacted me regarding the condition of Ermine Street, Ancaster. I have therefore pressed Lincolnshire County Council for an update on when works on improving the road will begin. I have now received the below response from Richard Fenwick, Head of Highways Asset & Local Management:
"I can confirm that the whole width of the B6403, from the 30mph signs as you come into the village from the North, to just before the A153 crossroads to the South, will be resurfaced in March/April 2023. In the meantime, we will of course address any intervention level defects along the route as and when they appear."
I will continue to monitor this matter closely and press for improvements to begin as soon as possible.
