This week in Parliament, I was pleased to attend a meeting at Number 10 on agriculture and farming to discuss food production. As a Member of Parliament for a rural constituency, I continue to emphasise the importance of farmers in Sleaford and North Hykeham and my support for our rural communities.
I am aware that many people are pressing for different land uses, including housebuilding, rewilding and energy production. However, it is crucial to recognise the importance of productive land and I reiterated my support for sustainable food production.
