Great news that local sports facilities are receiving funding through the Multi-Sport Grassroots Facilities Programme. Those who have applied and are receiving funding for new goalposts include:
- Metheringham F.C
- Witham United Football Club
- Barrowby Junior F.C.
- Newark Brazil F.C. Juniors (Claypole)
- Ancaster Athletic FC
- Gonerby Youth FC
The funding is part of £400 million government investment in grassroots facilities, including multisport pitches, tennis courts and swimming pools. It is great news that the Government is investing further in local sport and supporting our community facilities.
