Thank you to all who joined me at my Senior Citizens Fair at the Ark today in North Hykeham!
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting a great range of local groups who provide social opportunities, support and services for residents in the area.
From World War history research and gardening to singing groups, the WI and knitting, there is plenty to get involved in within the community and it was great to hear how many residents benefit from taking part. I also appreciate being joined by representatives from LIVES, Trading Standards, Lincolnshire County Council, ONE NK, YMCA, Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire and many more organisations who were on hand to provide residents with information on how they can help support you.
Many thanks to all who attended the fair, to the WI for helping to provide refreshments for visitors and to the great team at the Ark for hosting us!
