I recently held a constituency meeting with Silk Willoughby Parish Council who expressed their concerns regarding the amount of HGV traffic passing through the village and the subsequent noise disturbance this causes for residents living on London Road.
In particular, the Parish Council are concerned about how the poor road surface further amplifies the noise and vibrations from passing traffic, which is particularly problematic at night. I have therefore written to Lincolnshire County Council today to ask them to assist the Parish Council as much as possible with their concerns.
