It was fantastic to visit Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance last week where I enjoyed speaking to Karen, CEO of the charity, about the great work that the air ambulance does in support of residents in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire and the challenges of fundraising during a pandemic.
Due to the nature of their work, the air ambulance crew are called out to incredibly serious trauma and life-threatening cases. I was impressed by the on call medical crew, Paramedic Gaynor and Doctor Paul who gave me an insight into how the Ambucopter can bring life saving treatment to the incidents they encounter on a daily basis when every minute counts.
