Last week, I pressed the Government on what work they are doing to support my constituents with their household energy bills which for some have more than doubled.
I have received much correspondence on this issue with many of my constituents particularly concerned as they live in rural locations which are not on the gas grid and therefore buy oil and gas in bulk. I have been reassured that Ministers are working closely on the issue of rises in domestic heating oil, particularly following the events in Ukraine which are having some impacts on supply.
