Having supported their application, I am very pleased to hear that Metheringham Swimming Pool have been awarded funding for upgrades to their changing facilities, toilets and showers plus a new disabled changing space. The team have been awarded this grant from the FCC Communities Foundation.
It is brilliant to hear that it will be completed in time for the 50th anniversary of the pool in 2025. I know that the fantastic team of volunteers work very hard to maintain this great community asset and that it remains popular within the community.
I look forward to seeing the new facilities, and I will continue to work with the team and champion this great local pool.
