I have signed up to become a Plastic Free Ally following Sleaford's accreditation as a Plastic Free Community!
This means that my constituency office in Sleaford have taken steps to remove 4 single-use plastic items from the office environment and are supporting the Plastic Free Sleaford initiatives!
I was pleased to meet recently with Roberta Bray from the Plastic Free Sleaford team, who is doing great work in Sleaford to raise awareness of how we can all take steps to help reduce our consumption of single-use plastic and protect the environment. I was particularly delighted to hear that so many local businesses, schools and councils have signed up to the initiative.
