For the next few weeks I am spending a large chunk of my time in Parliament sitting on the Tobacco and Vapes Bill Committee.
Public Bill Committees are made up of a selection of MPs from across the House who meet to examine the details of a particular Bill during its passage through Parliament.
Sitting on these committees is a key part of an MP's work - taking evidence from interested parties and relevant organisations, and then subsequently scrutinising the legislation line by line.
The Tobacco and Vapes Bill is a very significant piece of legislation - tackling the worrying rise in teen vaping, something which I have been working hard on, and creating the first ever smokefree generation.
