This morning I visited the Royal Mail Delivery Office in Sleaford to meet our local posties and thank them for all their hard work over the last year and in the busy run up to Christmas.
The Royal Mail staff, as valuable key workers, have been working tirelessly to ensure loved ones stay connected throughout the pandemic and have played a vital role in our national response by collecting and delivering hundreds of thousands of test kits for the NHS every day and operating 35,000 priority postboxes.
The Sleaford office was stacked high with letters and parcels and I am incredibly grateful to Neil Newell and his team who are busy working around the clock to make sure residents in the local area receive our post, testing kits and presents this festive season!
