Lincolnshire will receive a share totalling £4,370,000 of the £150 million investment into bus services across the Midlands and the North.
This is the beginning of the Government’s Network North plan, helping local authorities provide more regular and reliable services or cheaper fares delivered through fare initiatives.
The Government have also announced the £2 bus fare cap is extended across the country from next week until 31 December 2024.
