At the moment, IVF treatment on the NHS is being denied to women locally if their partner has a child from a previous relationship as this is the policy of our local CCG. Nowhere else is healthcare restricted to someone with a medical condition on the basis of somebody else’s past history. I will be meeting with the Chief Executive of Lincolnshire CCG, John Turner, next month to discuss this issue further.
