The International Bomber Command Centre is an important learning centre about the role played by countless men and women across Lincolnshire in our nation's defence efforts during the Second World War. It's also the UK's tallest war memorial, with its 31-metre tall memorial spire. Yesterday I met with with the Tourism Minister, Nigel Huddleston, to discuss the huge importance of the IBCC and the urgent need for financial support to secure its future at this difficult time for heritage services.
