Gareth Davies (MP for Grantham) and I had a meeting with Andrew Morgan, the interim Chief Executive of ULHT (pictured right) to discuss services at Grantham Hospital. This follows a meeting we had with Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary, in January where we pressed the need to bring back a 24-hour A&E to Grantham Hospital and to ensure the required investment needed is available. We also discussed the need for capital investment and the possible benefits of a new hospital.
Grantham Hospital serves many of my constituents and is a valued part of the NHS in Lincolnshire, so seeing improvements to the care and services available remains one of my top priorities.
