Wishing the very best of luck today to Branston Community Academy and Kesteven & Sleaford High School, who are competing in the regional final of the annual Quadcopter Challenge for a place in November’s national final.
The Quadcopter Challenge is Raytheon UK’s flagship science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) activity aimed at promoting the benefits of STEM education in schools across the UK. School teams get hands-on experience of design, project management, presentations, engineering techniques, and aerodynamics. They also gain an insight into the real-world applications of STEM.
It's great to see local pupils learning new skills and working together on such a fascinating project - I hope to see our Lincolnshire teams in the national final!
