The staff at Citizen’s Advice Mid Lincs do amazing work helping our community, and it was an honour to attend their 80th anniversary event in their Sleaford office. Citizen’s Advice started out giving advice on 4th September 1939, the day after the start of World War II, and have been going ever since.
The team offer free and impartial advice on a huge range of issues, either in person or over the phone, and they can also point you in the direction of other help and support you may be entitled to. I am hugely grateful to them for the working relationship we have built since my election as the local MP – they often refer people to me if I can help, and vice versa.
I know from my postbag how much our community appreciates their hard work, and they are a hugely valuable asset to our local area. It was a pleasure to celebrate with them, and I wish them the very best – here’s to the next 80 years!
