It was great to meet Mark Alexander, Managing Director for Siemens Energy, in North Hykeham yesterday.
We discussed how the site at Teal Park, which employs 500 people locally, plays a significant role in maintaining and repairing Siemens’ gas turbines which are located across the globe. We also discussed the important role Siemens Energy plays in our energy transition and how we can ensure our plans for a greener future work for everyone while being mindful of enhancing our economic prosperity.
It was also great to hear from Mark how the business focuses on encouraging more women into STEM subjects and how they work with local education services to achieve this.
