This morning I attended a service in Westminster Abbey along with NHS colleagues and local leaders to mark the 75th anniversary of the National Health Service. I was proud to wear these badges to the Abbey today. On the left is the Covid Star from K2 Healthcare for being a volunteer vaccinator at the Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham and on the right from Peterborough City Hospital for my work during the pandemic.
After the service, I had the pleasure of meeting Grace, an award winning local nurse from the constituency, during a reception at 10 Downing Street. Thank you to all those past and present who have contributed to the NHS and for their commitment to our nation's health and wellbeing every day. #NHS75
