Great to visit Boots in Sleaford to discuss the Pharmacy First service!

The new Pharmacy First service enables patients to get treatment for seven common conditions directly from their local pharmacy, without the need for a GP appointment. The 7 conditions pharmacists can manage are:

 - Acute otitis media

 - Impetigo

 - Infected insect bites

 - Shingles

 - Sinusitis

 - Sore throat

 - Uncomplicated urinary tract infections

Boots is one of many local pharmacies who can offer the service. It is great to hear that more than 10,000 pharmacies have already signed up to Pharmacy First – that’s over 95 per cent of all those in England.
