The Government have announced today that Lincolnshire will receive £262 million as additional funding to transform our roads and local transport infrastructure across the county.
This comes from the £4.7 billion Local Transport Fund which is the latest part of the plan to reallocate HS2 funding into long-term local transport improvements for the North and Midlands.
The package comes on top of an additional £6.8 million to fill potholes and resurface local roads in Lincolnshire announced in the Budget 2023, local investment to improve bus services and the extension of the £2 bus fare cap.
