I recently visited St Michael’s Church of England Primary School in Thorpe on the Hill, after the Year 6 class visited the House of Commons last year.
I met with the school parliament, who are elected from the year groups and make decisions about running their school. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged with politics, and I had a great time chatting with them and answering their questions.
The school are visiting Parliament again in the autumn – if your school would like to come on a visit, do get in touch!
