It is welcome news that farmers and foresters in Sleaford and North Hykeham have received £527, 200 as part of the Government's Farming Equipment and Technology Fund.
This fund will help to boost farm productivity, reduce waste and cut input costs, as well as increase environmental sustainability and improve slurry management.
Over 90 pieces of equipment are being offered through the fund which will support food security such as by reducing the spread of pests and diseases and sustainably managing valuable nutrients on farm.
