I was glad to host the NFU Summer Reception in Parliament to celebrate British farming and food production. Many thanks to NFU President, Minette Batters, and new DEFRA Select Committee chair, Sir Robert Goodwill MP, for speaking to us and to all who attended the event.
Sleaford and North Hykeham is home to many ambitious and hardworking farmers, and it is incredibly important we back British farmers, invest in new methods to enhance our food security and unlock technologies to increase productivity and profitability and improve food security.
