I had a great time during my visit to Beckside Care Home in North Hykeham! I was warmly welcomed by the Manager, Andrea, her team and of course the lovely residents.
I was impressed to hear that Beckside was one of the first homes to get their staff vaccinated, with 60% getting the jab in the first 2 days of them becoming available.
The residents were taking part in a singing session as I arrived, followed by Pimms and a chance to have a chit-chat. It was lovely to be able to chat with residents and staff. I also had chance to talk to some of Beckside's volunteers who do a great job and are a vital part of the home's community.
